Hot For Teacher Guitar Lesson

I’m sure you, like myself, are still reeling from Eddie Van Halen’s passing on Tuesday October 6th. The man was a true musical Icon and his legacy will live on for many many years to come.

As a tribute I thought I would record this MasterThatRiff! lesson looking at how to play one of my favourite EVH moments with the bombtastic intro and riff to Hot For Teacher from Van Halen’s 1984 album.

Eddie will be sorely missed yet his influence on rock guitar playing is undeniable, quite simply he was the Guitar God’s Guitar God.

RIP Edward Lodewijk Van Halen 1955 – 2020.
