In this guitar lesson we look at the best way for you to really LEARN and PRACTICE the modes of the Major scale. The lesson assumes some knowledge of the modes already, their construction, intervallic makeup etc. As well as fretboard knowledge of intervals and triads. In saying that there should hopefully be something here for everyone no matter your experience.

The premise of the lesson is the fact that Modes tend to confuse and their actual SOUND or MUSICAL application gets lost behind the theory and physicality of playing them on the guitar.

Hopefully this lesson will provide you with some approaches to work on truly absorbing the sound of each mode and provide you with the means to make MUSIC with them 🙂
